Bennett - 61 - of North Main St. Mason was a graduate of Wilson Early College Academy, Wilson Community College, and was currently attending Wake Tech in Raleigh, NC. Scott Kevin Bennett, 61, of rural Lawton passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021. Bennett's wife, Stacy Bennett said he died from complications of a large brain tumor. He passed away unexpectedly at his beloved Barret Place home in Shreveport on February 19, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Make a Wish Foundation, a charity that John participated with for many years, where he made boating wishes come true for children in need on the Susquehanna River.
